Meet Lea Latendresse
Lea Latendresse is the heart behind The Owl’s Altered Estate and the thoughtful host who brings its glamping experience to life. A Camden native, Lea spent time in Nashville after graduating from Belmont University, where she worked in a large marketing firm and gained the creative and organizational skills that now shape every detail of the property.
While her career took her away for a time, home was always calling. Lea returned to Camden to be closer to family and to create something meaningful—an elevated outdoor retreat that reflects her love for nature, creativity, and connection. That vision became The Owl’s Altered Estate, a luxury glamping destination designed to help guests slow down, recharge, and feel genuinely cared for.
Outside of hosting, Lea is deeply connected to the outdoors and enjoys camping, wild crafting, and creating handmade bath bombs and sugar scrubs just for fun. She’s also known for her dedication to wellness—fun fact: she’s obsessed with arm balances and inversions—and still has a soft spot for her high school favorite, Yellow Ledbetter.
Lea is passionate about supporting local businesses and community, having also worked at the local radio station and maintained strong ties to Camden’s small-town spirit. Most of all, she takes pride in going the extra mile for every guest, ensuring each glamping stay feels personal, intentional, and truly one of a kind.
